There aren’t many calls to action that work out better in the long run than a good sibling rivalry, whether it be your mundane game of pickup basketball in the driveway or in the whirlwind of professional athletics.

Based on the litany of famous athletes who have siblings pro sports, it seems like that call to action must be working.

National Siblings Day is on April 10. To celebrate, BetMichigan.com took a break from covering Michigan sports betting and decided to investigate the most famous sibling-athletes in sports.

Using Semrush total combined search volume between Feb. 28–March 28, 2024, we found that the NFL brothers, Travis and Jason Kelce, are the most famous with a search volume of 4,400,000. Here are the results.

Most Iconic Sibling Athletes

Rank Siblings Combined Search Volume
1 Travis and Jason Kelce 4,400,000
2 Giannis, Thanasis, Kostas and Alex Antetokounmpo 1,091,600
3 Jim and John Harbaugh 808,000
4 Steph and Seth Curry 690,000
5 Shedeur, Shelomi, Deion Jr., and Shilo Sanders 648,000
6 Serena and Venus Williams 533,000
7 Peyton and Eli Manning 381,000
8 Lonzo, LiAngelo and LaMelo Ball 359,600
T9 Rob, Chris, Gordie Jr. and Dan Gronkowski 177,590
T9 Brook and Robin Lopez 177,590

Travis Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs are +625 in Super Bowl odds at Caesars Sportsbook Michigan for the season, behind only the San Francisco 49ers (+550). Do I hear threepeat?

Which Celebrity Siblings Are Michigan’s Favorite?

In Michigan, the closest thing to an in-state connection with the top 10 most searched-for professional athlete siblings is Jim Harbaugh, the former Michigan Wolverines QB-turned-head coach. Jim Harbaugh is back in the NFL with the Los Angeles Chargers with his brother John, who has coached the NFL’s Baltimore Ravens since 2008.

The Harbaughs rank third overall with a combined search volume of 808,000, finishing behind NFL-turned-pop culture stars Travis and Jason Kelce (4,400,000 combined search volume) and Giannis, Thanasis, Kostas and Alex Antetokounmpo of the NBA, who combined to notch a search volume of 1,091,600 among them.

The Harbaugh brothers beat out stars like Shedeur, Shelomi, Deion Jr. and Shilo Sanders (648,000 search volume combined), Serena and Venus Williams (381,000), Peyton and Eli Manning (381,000), Lonzo, LiAngelo & LaMelo Ball (359,600), Rob, Chris, Gordie Jr., and Dan Gronkowski and Brook and Robin Lopez (both177,590).
